Show TimesThe Passion of George W. Bush premeired at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Performing Arts on August 14th, 2004 as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. A concert production was performed on November 1st, 2004 at Joe's Pub.

Simon Hammerstein, director
Simon is Founder and Artistic Director of Last Minute Productions Inc. His recent productions include the world premieres of Matt Pepper's St. Crispin's Day (TONY CRITICS PICK) and Adam Rapp's Trueblinka (TONY CRITICS PICK), and his revivals of Sartre's Men Without Shadows and O'Neill's Moon of the Caribees. Other credits include Neena Beber's Jump/Cut (nominated for an I.R.N.E- best new play), The Dew Point, Search and Destroy by Howard Korder and First Love by Richard Vetere. His work has been presented by The Rattlestick Theater, Soho Rep, The Flea, Gloucester Stage Co., Joe's Pub, Ensemble Studio Theater, La MaMa and others. He is a member of the Actors' Studio Writers & Directors Unit and the Lincoln Center Directors Lab.
