Colin Stokes - George W. Bush
last appeared on Fringe stages in 2002 in Best Overall Production winner Six Story Building. Fringe-like shows include Oedipus! A New Musical Comedy at Wings Theatre (title role) and Pirates of Penzance on a boat at South Street Seaport. He has been paid to act by Goodspeed Musicals (Great Expectations), Gateway Playhouse (On The Town, Godspell), TheatreWorks/USA (Just So Stories), and a few others. To relax, he performs Shakespeare, including Edmund to Austin Pendleton’s King Lear (New Rep), The Merchant of Venice (Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival), and Romeo and Juliet on Boston Common. He has appeared in the requisite Law & Order episode and is auditioning for commercials. If you hated this show, you will probably like him in off-Broadway’s I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, which he will be returning to tomorrow.
